Abstract:
|
The PCASP measures an aerosol size distributions from 0.09 to 3.0 micrometers. Aerosols pass through a laser beam and the resulting intensity of scattered light is directly correlated to the diameter of the aerosol passing through the beam. If the PCASP number concentration exceeding the CPC3010 number concentration by less than 25% triggers a data flag of 1 and greater than 25% triggers a data flag of 2. If laser power was less than 8 a caution flag of 1 was triggered and less than 7 triggers a flag of 2. Instrument does not maintaining volumetric flow. A correction(Conc=Conc_orig*[(1013.25/Pamb)*(Tamb/293.15)]) was applied.
