Lecturer:

J.L. Guerrero-Rascado research focuses on atmospheric physics, atmospheric aerosol, radiative transfer, clouds, and aerosol-cloud interactions. He has a strong experimental background, highlighting lidars and sun-photometers. He has an M. Sc. in Geophysics and Meteorology (2007), an M. Sc. in Methods and Advanced Techniques in Physics in (2008), and a PhD (cum laude per unanimity, 2008) from the University of Granada. He had postdoc positions at the Univeristy of Granada, and also in Portugal, Brazil and Colombia, and since 2014 has an Excellence Research Contract with the Andalusian Institute for Earth System Research, of the University of Granada. He participated as investigator in 7 field campaigns in Spain, Italy and Portugal, and has taken part in 28 research funded international/national projects. He has published 59 articles, with 764 citations, and already supervised more than 10 graduate students.
